Problem Description

Issue

I wanted to make a server for my and my friends, but they are using non-premium accounts. Once i edited the “online-mode” to false and restarted the server, it goes back to “true”

Reproduction Steps

  • go to minecraft’s server folder
  • open the file server.properties inside of the minecraft’s server folder
  • edit server.properties: search the “online-mode” and put false

What do you mean with non-premium accounts? Are you saying your friends didn’t purchase the game?

My guess is that you had the server running while you were editing server.properties. You could connect with sftp and change it there. Start the server and hope for the best.
