i dont want to just create a new forge server i want to plug in my modpack to be managed by amp. HOW DO I DO THAT?!
Reproduction Steps
i tried to make a forge server
i tried to figure out how to use my modpack
theres no clear instructions on how to use your own modpack
You just upload the server pack for whatever modpack you’re using, the same as any other MC server setup.
I guess the question is at what point in the process do I get to select my server file to upload?

You just upload the mods using the file manager and then select the right modloader and version in the settings
can you include a screenshot of exactly what you mean because ive used mcss and it was pretty straightforward. im just a little lost with amp
You set the Server Type
to whatever the modpack uses, and the version as well. The settings are just under the Minecraft -> Server Settings
section. There’s also a search bar in the upper right if you can’t find something.

Where do I put custom start up arguments?
You can find this options under:
Configuration → Minecraft → Java and Memory → Additional java options
