Problem Description

Issue

I have installed the modpacks server files to my local device but I need to put them onto my server I do not know how? This is my first time with any kind of server stuff like this.

Reproduction Steps

  • Kill server
  • Enter config
  • what next?

You zip and upload the files using the web file manager or using SFTP with WinSCP or FileZilla (connection details in the upper right of the web file manager)

Is there a guide I can follow to help me with this? (update) i am now connected to it with winscp should i delete all the files in the server and just upload the modpacks zip file or place thew zip somewhere specific

Not really no, it’s straightforward enough if you google the bits you don’t know (SFTP is a common connection protocol for file transfers)

You can overwrite the files or delete them, your choice really
