Problem Description

Issue

I installed a modpack “All the mod 10” from curse forge, I have the same versions between the clienbts yet some channels are missing. in the server I see them in the server folders and in the right version.
My clienbt is also apparently not the same version, but both are in Neoforge 21.1.114 (I run from forge directly).
I’ve tried everything, I’ve reinstalled everything, I’ve installed the mods 1 by 1 but nothing works.

Reproduction Steps

  • Test in game
  • error server in game server start
  • lol error (channel missing)
  • log error (client incompatible)
  • reinstall modpack and mod missing
  • same error
  • i see correct version client and server
  • and missing mod were in a folder server
  • but same log error

Make sure that you have the right modloader (Server Type) and version selected for the modpack you’re trying to run, otherwise the mods will not load on the server.

Looks like I’m having the same problem, can’t figure out why it won’t start

(Says “Instance killed by the user” although I haven’t killed it)

@Ethan_LIMARE
Have you been able to make it run?

First thing I noticed in your log, it seems like you have installed the client files of ATM10 and not the server files as it indicates loading client-side mods. Go to curseforge and grab the server files from the modpack and install them to the server.

That’s strange, the .zip file is called “ServerFilesxxxx”…
Also on my Windows computer it runs absolutely fine as a server with the same files and lets me connect as a client

I’ll try and download it again

NeoForge doesn’t have a server Jar, so try leaving that setting as Autoselect

I tried to re-download server files from the curseforge app, the .zip is called ServerFiles-2.34.

I started the server on my local machine, server up and works correctly when I join.
Even tried to zip the folder and moved it to the server, selected the same NeoForge version and set server jar to [AutoSelect] but the outcome is the same, server tries to start but crashes instead and AMP displays the message “Killed by user”

And what error does it give in the console? Did you delete all old files before copying the new files over?
Also, how did you move the zip to the server? Hopefully, using AMPs File Manager or AMPs built-in SFTP

The console logs are in my previous message, yes I created a new instance, yes I used the built in file manager

You are saying, you got the same log again? That can’t be if you really installed the server pack. Your previous log mentions loading the mod EMI which is not part of the server pack. That’s only one example.

Please, share the new log. Otherwise, nobody can help you. We can’t just wild guess what’s your problem.
