Customization with DayZ (Stable) - Updating breaks mods setup

Problem Description

Issue

When using the update button in the console menu, cfgeconomycore.xml, as well as any other modified file such as types.xml and cfgeventspawn.xml, is reset to default. This breaks mods and removes the items added from the game. This has causes issues with losing items. Is there any way around this?

Reproduction Steps

  • Use the steam IDs in the update section to download mods
  • Download the mods using update and running the server. Then adding in the calls to their types xmls in cfgeconomycore.xml
  • Use the update button to update mods. This step also wipes the cfgeconomycore.xml removing all modded items and types from server.
