Problem Description
Issue
I would like to request a full refund, we got this server thinking we’d be able to edit more and get more mods. but we are unable to do either. We went through all of the multipliers to try and edit them and none of them worked, and we tried to add alot of mods, but only the first one loaded correctly.
Reproduction Steps
- Add all of the mods we wanted
- went through and changed all of the server settings to get the multipliers we wanted, but are missing several options
- Tried to edit the official config
- Removed everything and tried again
AMP isn’t refundable once it has been activated - There’s nothing about AMP that stops you from editing the configuration though to change the various multipliers so we just need to look at what is going on. What are you changing exactly, how are you changing it and what is happening afterwards? How you added the mods matters too, if you did it outside of AMP then you may have some permissions issues going on.
Also, did you follow the ARK: Survival Ascended guide? It discusses how to change various settings, how to use the ‘minimal’ version of the template so that AMP won’t try and change your settings at all, and how to install and use mods.
I installed the “minimal” version initially and it didn’t have very many settings, so I switched to the full version. I’m going to test the multiple-mod issue on my own server just to help you out and give you a second opinion on that, but my server is dead in the water right now because it’s no longer showing up in Ark. Someone else is having the same issue so I think it’s related to the update yesterday. Once I’m back in I’ll install a few more mods and let you know if it’s working for me.
Im on the minimal version and Im trying to implement a custom ini file to override the default gather rates since I am limited by what I am able to edit via the Game panels Configurator. however I’m not having any luck.
