Problem Description
Issue
the ark survival ascended server (both minimal and full) cant be modified externally or import other saved servers, Either it has a unique way of storing files (different from nitrado and other applications and even local) or the AMP application cant access normal files that don’t have special amp permissions, I am stuck with a 40$ license which is non refundable and a bricked app. I need a solution.
the configs can be made manually, but not all configs are listed, like dino stats and multipliers for players (1 through 10) i.e stamina multiplier add per lever, and affinity, and so on.
and cant modify the original .ini file neither in file manager nor windows file explorer (because of the AMP user permissions).
what concerns me is the importing of saved worlds, using literally anyway possible wont work.
so i cant import a saved server from nitrado on the latest version, nor a single player world.
Reproduction Steps
- create instance and input files using all ways (port 2223, windows explorer, filemanager)
- start server / check using file manager (everything checks fine)
- server starts updating/restoring template files and never changes config
