Problem Description

Issue

I am trying to export a modpack from Curseforge, and implement it into my server, however it doesn’t seem to be working. I would export the modpack from the curseforge application (The modpack I am working on exporting is called “Cobblemon Beyond the Pixelverse 2” however I somehow found 2 separate tutorials on how to add mods both from Hostinger, one told me to copy and paste the zip folder into the Mods folder, which didn’t work, server ended up displaying that it was missing a chunk of the mods. Another tutorial said to add the zip folder directly into the Root Directory and to extract it in the Directory, which ended with the same effect, and never ended up extracting itself for some reason.

Reproduction Steps

  • Export modpack from Curseforge applciation (Cobblemon Beyond the Pixelverse 2)
  • Locate and open File Manager within Game Panel
  • Download/transfer zip folder into either Mod folder or directly into Root Directory
  • Open Server, Server shows missing mods, displays missing mods with 51 extras it cannot show

Note, this is not Hostinger support, just the forum for AMP, but we can point you in the right direction.
You need to upload the mod jar files themselves to the mods folder, not the mod manifest zip, as the manifest zip doesn’t actually contain the mods and doesn’t do anything on a server. (and the server doesn’t know how to read a zip at all, they must be jar files)
