Problem Description

Issue

Hello, I am wondering why when I join my server there are no mods enabled? All the mods I want to play with are in the server files under “mods” that I created. I followed the guide you guys have posted and triple checked my work to make sure I was doing everything right and I was. I am trying to join the server via cursed forge as my own mudpack. The forge version, Minecraft version, and all the mods (identical to the servers mods) I want to play with. I’m just super confused and don’t know what else to do

Reproduction Steps

  • downloaded forge on the server
  • Added mods to the server
  • server wont load with the mods in

did you confirm the mods & forge version match?

can you give me your MC Version/Forge Version/ and list the mods you’re using I’ll try to create the server.

thank you.

This usually happens when the user doesn’t select the Forge server type, or mistakenly loads the Vanilla Jar.

Where can I select the “Forge server type”

In the Minecraft instance’s settings (there’s a search bar in the upper right)
