Problem Description
Issue
The only way that I am able to try and connect is via the Steam://connect function. This gives me the following error message (sadly in german): “serverbindung nicht möglich da vom server angegebene anw-id ungültig ist”. I would translate it as follows: “Server connection not possible, since the application-id given by the server is not valid”. Sounds to me like the server is not aware that it is a TF2 server. I do not know where I have to add it. Thanks for you help!
Reproduction Steps
- Create Server
- add Game Server Login Token
- add Server Account ID
- Server Account Token
- I DID NOT yet port forward, but am testing in my local LAN
- try connecting via web interface
- try connecting via ip
