Problem Description

Issue

I tried diagnosing it myself again before I resorted to making another ticket, I followed the Diagnostic Connectivity Issues article. I even enabled the UFW firewall and I still get the message

Reproduction Steps

  • create tf2 64bit instance
  • set ‘after creation’ to > do nothing
  • set application IP binding to the correct ip
  • add 3345507915 as a custom initial map
  • set game server token
  • install and activate metamod and sourcemod
  • attempt to start tf2 64 bit instance from the connection link
  • enable ufw firewall on linux ubuntu

The steam connect functionality is unreliable (that’s a steam issue, not amp issue)

It turns out that when I try a custom map from the workshop, in particular 3345507915 the one in the first post; it just refuses to connect. I tried adding the prefix workshop_ in the beginning but it doesn’t seem to work either. Do I need to manually download it?
