Problem Description

Issue

I have updated and installed WINE on linux which allowed the server to start, but I can’t figure out how to connect to it in Smalland. I can’t add it in steam Steam doesn’t recognize that there is a server running. Not sure how to proceed. Thoughts?

Reproduction Steps

  • Install Smalland dedicated server on AMP
  • Install Wine on Linux (Debian) running AMP
  • Updated Smalland on AMP
  • Run Smalland dedicated Server on AMP -Dedicated Server Running!
  • Open Smalland on PC in the same network
  • Attempt to use Join to join the server, no server in any list on game

UPDATE
Ok I got the server to appear in the public list on the game now, but I still cannot join the game. Nothing happens when I click on the server in Smalland. I wonder if there is a log somewhere I can see what is going on. The console on the server shows no attempts to connect. Nothing happens there when I try to connect.

Hey, make sure your game version matches the server version

Ok since the update it is now getting to the loading screen but it just times out and then won’t load.
