Problem Description
Issue
Per steps above - the Satisfactory server starts without any issue. You can change any server settings through the Satisfactory client. However, upon using ‘Create Game’ the process starts but ultimately drops back to the ‘start game’ choice and the server actually crashes on the back end and restarts.
Reproduction Steps
- Add Server/Port to Satisfactory
- Goto server settings and change any setting - works.
- Go to ‘Create Game’ and start a new session - server crashes
**** Update: Solved
Fixed. Problem was CPU type on the VM. Thought I already set it to ‘host’ but it wasn’t. Changed the setting, rebooted the VM and everything works as planned.
