Problem Description
Issue
I have forwarded UDP ports 16261 and 16262 to the server running AMP, When searching in the in-game session browser, my session does not pop up when searching by either server name or public IP. When entering the server details (my public IP and port) in Steam’s game server area in the ‘view’ menu, The server shows up but I am unable to connect, met with the error on step 4. Amp server setup with Http, not https
Successfully have started valheim servers with friends connecting from the internet by recreating the same steps above (port forwarding).
Reproduction Steps
- Forward ports 16261-16262 UDP from router to AMP server
- Installed Project Zomboid Server on AMP
- Added server manually in Steam → View → Game Servers → Add
- When attempting to connect, I am met with “Failure Unable to connect to server, app id specified by server is invalid”
