When i port forwarded the ports. i did it to the static ip address of my server. But i have seen article posts about public ip addresses. Is there a way to set the Connection Info of the instance to a public ip address instead of my servers static ip. want to see if i switch it to the public ip address it changes.
What i have checked
-Server has a static ip address and i have port forwarded to that ip address
-Confirmed the ports with the instance page.
-checked the firewall settings on the server and confirmed all ports were set to allowed
