Problem Description

Issue

I have a linux dabian server running docker, AMP and a playit.gg tunnel. I can’t seem to set it up so that it uses the proper public port. I have tried to set the game port to the same port as the playit.gg tunnel. I have tried to edit the server’s ini, however it keeps reverting back to the same PublicPort=8211 value. I have tried changing the PublicPort via the command line argument box, and the config box offered in the gui, but it hasn’t work. I also discovered when you use the box in the gui that edits the Palworldserversettings.ini, it just adds the value to the end, but doesn’t overwrite the existing value. Please help.

Reproduction Steps

  • Created server
  • created a playit tunnel
  • had friend try to join

You don’t edit the ini file, you change the port in the instances network settings.
