Problem Description

Issue

trying to connect to the server but it keeps on saying server time out and saying that it is either down or the ip has changed

Reproduction Steps

  • find the server in the game
  • click on server
  • type in the server password
  • attempt to connect to the server
  • get a connection time out

Make sure you forwarded all the ports in your router to the server correctly as TCP/UDP based on what the instance shows. If you have, then find out if your ISP has you behind CGNAT. If so you will need to use a forwarding service like playit.gg.
