Problem Description

Issue

I cannot connect to the instance at all, not even locally, I’ve tested through my Tailscale IP, through my local IP, using IPv6 it actually shows up but I still cannot connect to it, and when I direct connect to the IP no activity shows in the instance’s logs, currently running ATM9 TTS through the forge option

Reproduction Steps

  • Opened ports, allowed local connection
  • Updated instances, made sure that they are running correctly and are showing as open on the correct port
  • Attempted to connect through Tailscale but same effect, I launched minecraft server without AMP and was able to connect, the issue is possibly with AMP or firewall maybe?

Are you trying to join from the same machine, or a different machine?
Forge tends to crap out if you’re on the same machine and try to use 0.0.0.0 or the local IP.
127.0.0.1 or ::1 should work fine in that case however.

I’m so sorry, I’m an idiot, it was my local firewall
