Connectivity Problem with Minecraft - Server works outside of AMP. Not in AMP

Problem Description

Issue

ported a modded server in to AMP, it works perfectly outside of AMP. when ran trough AMP it’s impossible to connect with the IP or “localhost” but i can connect from clients on the same network trough the LAN section. the ports are forwarded properly as it works outside of AMP.

Reproduction Steps

  • Imported Server
  • imported server settings
  • started the server

Make sure you’re not uploading the server files through the windows file explorer, as that will break file permissions. It’s best to use SFTP.
You can run this command in the CLI to see if it fixes the file permissions: ampinstmgr fixperms
