Problem Description
Issue
Detailed Description
We are facing both lagging and crashing issues with our Minecraft server. The server runs on Hostinger’s 8GB RAM game plan, where Hostinger AI suggested it should handle around 30–40 players daily for up to 2 months with about 50 plugins.
However, in practice:
The server lags heavily when player count reaches 30+.
Sometimes the server stops or crashes after a few minutes.
Lag spikes happen frequently, especially during player activity.
We need support to check:
Whether the allocated resources (RAM/CPU) are sufficient for this setup.
If the issue is caused by plugins, configuration, or hardware limitations.
Steps or optimizations we can apply to reduce lag and stop crashes.
Reproduction Steps
- Start the server using Hostinger’s 8GB RAM game plan.
- Players join (10–15 players active, around 50 plugins installed).
- After a few minutes, the server starts lagging and sometimes crashes when certain players connect.
