Problem Description

Issue

So this is a pretty hefty server utilizing shaders with three players and a mod that renders in a huge part of the world at a time. The server at first was working just great until my friends kept getting disconnected every 5 minutes or so. I found out I could adjust the Max heap for the java memory and did so to great success, now as I continued to play after they left the server it has been constantly shutting down due to crashes.

Reproduction Steps

  • Adjusted the Max Heap for the server
  • Got a warning for cpu overload and upgraded my panel
  • Scaled back the max heap due to the strain on the cpu giving me a warning

Just to note, this is not Hostinger support, this is the forum for AMP.
Minecraft doesn’t benefit from more cores really, since most of the game is single-threaded, so the only way to get things working better is to manage your server’s resources effectively, or get a faster CPU. (render distance should be in the range of 8-12, more than that and you’ll have a bad time)
To resolve crashes, you’re just going to need to read the crash log and the latest.log to see what happened.
