Problem Description

Issue

For some reasons not able to connect locally to the server - have updated to latest paper version, have tried both ip settings IPV4 loopback and the 0.0.0.0 one, not sure what else to try

Reproduction Steps

  • Created MinecraftInstance
  • Updated to latest Paper version
  • Tried both IPV4 Looback and the 0.0.0.0 one

The server should work on 0.0.0.0 (means all network interfaces).
Double check that the server has started and that the port is open in your firewall.

Still no luck
Have allowed port 25565 thru host pc and separate game pcs firewall, inbound and outbound (pretty sure both is correct)
still not able to connect locally

Weird, and just a general sanity check, the server is on port 25565 and the server’s console is showing some output?

Yes indeed - console shows output and says it has been started under port 25565

I’m not entirely sure on how to diagnose further on windows, might be worth a computer reboot tbh.

You’re not putting 0.0.0.0 into Minecraft are you?
