Problem Description
Issue
The Minecraft server runs correctly and is reachable in LAN.
Port forwarding is configured on a WindTre router (25565 and 25566 → 192.168.1.28).
Windows Firewall allows Java on both private and public networks.
Other game servers hosted on AMP are reachable externally without issues using similar port forwarding rules.
However, the Minecraft server is not reachable externally.
Router port forwarding rules appear saved but not active (status indicator shows disabled).
This issue seems specific to the Minecraft instance or how it is exposed externally.
Reproduction Steps
- Start Minecraft server in AMP (listening on 0.0.0.0:25566)
- Connect using local IP (192.168.1.28) → works correctly
- Using public IP (151.xx.xxx.xxx:25566) from external network → connection refused
