Problem Description

Issue

Hello, I cant join on my minecraft server, it says invalid playerdata or Internal Exception: java.Net.SocketException: Connection reset. Feel free to ask about any log. Kind Regards

Reproduction Steps

  • join the server
  • cant join cause of the “invalid playerdata”
  • but sometimes it says: Internal Exception: java.Net.SocketException: Connection reset

That tends to mean that your player’s data file in world/playerdata/your-uuid-here.dat is corrupt in some form.
If you have backups you could restore the file from the backup, or use an NBT editor to try and see if you can find the issue.
If you are unable to fix the file, then renaming it or deleting it would be the next step to get things playable again.

Hello, I deleted the file, but it still happens and I cant join. Do you have any other ideas?
Kind Regards

You’ll need to read the log to see if there’s more errors
