Connectivity Problem with Minecraft - Imcompatible Client please use version 21.1.25

Problem Description

Issue

I am trying to make a modded java minecraft server (ATM10 modpack)
Server starts all fine without problems.
However when I try to connect to it I always get the same error message - Imcompatible client please use version 21.1.25.
I have triple checked that the client and version are exactly the same - neoforge 21.1.25 with the exact same modlist
Alas I still cannot connect please help.

Reproduction Steps

  • Create minecraft java instance
  • Select Server Type as Neoforge
  • Select neoforge version as 21.1.25
  • Upload Server files (ATM10)
  • Extract server files
  • Download/Update Server type
  • Start server

In the Minecraft main menu, you see that Neo version in the bottom corner?

Yes it says Neoforge 21.1.25

Are you sure it’s not supposed to be 21.1.125 ? Or are you using an older version of ATM10?
