Problem Description

Issue

I tried to enter the server world, with the same mods, same version of forge, and everything the same, the server appears, but when trying to enter, it says “unable to validate user name”. What do I need to do to be authorized to join the server?

Reproduction Steps

  • Add mods and open the server
  • Create a modpck folder with the smae mods and same version
  • I tried to log in to the server that appears but it doesn’t go in

That error usually means that the client did not authenticate correctly with Microsoft’s auth servers.
I’d suggest restarting your client to see if that sorts it out.
If that isn’t the issue, double check that Disallow proxied connections is disabled in the instance’s settings (Forge/Neo’s networking differences bugger the proxy detection)

Thanks for the answer!
I tried to restart everything but not worked.
I tried to turn on and turn off the “Disallow proxied connections” and didn’t worked either.
My account it’s not linked with microsoft account, it’s an unnoficial account, Is there a problem with this, or is it supposed to work anyway? The same message keeps appearing: “Failed to verify username”

AMP does not support pirated accounts.

Thanks man, i don’t know what to do now, but thanks!

How are you opening minecraft? Directly from the launcher? Using something like multi-mc? Or are you pirating it? If you’re pirating it, there’s no solution, but otherwise it might be dependent upon the method you use to log in and so on.

From their message, they are not linked to a Microsoft account. They are pirating.
