Problem Description

Issue

i tried installing the Greyser and Floodgate plugins but I couldn’t bring it to work. How to deal with .jar folder from all downloaded plugin? should it install by itself after restart? or we need to change it to .zip and extract? i tried this yt Tutorials but it doesn’t work at all.

Reproduction Steps

  • Installed MC Java Edition
  • Added Greyser and Floodgate plugin then restart the server
  • Tried to connect my MC from iPad and it doesn’t work at all. What am I missing?

You need to add the 19132 UDP port to the instance from the main panel

In the Instance Deployment then Network under Application Port Ranges, plenty of UDPs numbers including 19132:19232 already.

Can you recommend me of a Youtube videos on how to setup Minecraft Java Server Instance? That would be easier for me to follow.

Thank you.
Dave

You click the <~> button on the Minecraft instance and add the port.
By default the instance only has access to the Java MC port, so you need to add the additional port.

yes, i also just added it, installed all the plugins like Geyser and Floodgate. and the 19132 port is “Not Listening” mode with Red color on it…

Yeah that’s fine, UDP ports are harder to check to see if they’re open or not, so the best bet is just to try it
