Problem Description

Issue

i use the 1.20.1 forge mod loader with around 40 mods and it won’t let me and my friends join the server(it’s say connection timeout : no further information.

Reproduction Steps

  • join the server
  • it’s say connection time out:no further information
  • can’t enter the server

Assuming from the lack of info that you’re with Hostinger.
Make sure the server has fully started, that you try the VPS’s IP rather than the domain name, and that the server has the right modloader and version selected for the mods you’re running.

If that checks out, you can try adding the -Dfml.readTimeout=180 startup argument to both the client and server. In AMP just search “Java” in the upper right, and for your client, google how to add startup args.
