Problem Description

Issue

I can join my minecraft server.
When my friends try to join, they cannot.
They have enough RAM to run it, storage for it, the correct IP, updated drivers, etc, but cannot join.

Reproduction Steps

  • playing on my server with minor issues (modded)
  • friend attempts to connect
  • friend cannot connect / time out

Best bet would be for you to read the client/server logs to see what’s going on.
If it’s just a timeout issue you can add the arg-Dfml.readTimeout=180 to both their client and the server (google how to add args to their client)
