Problem Description

Issue

hello im having an issue with my friends being unable to connect to my mincraft servers ONLY they can connect to the abiotic server just fine, but the minecraft server keeps giving them the Connection refused: GetSockOpt, and its not all of them its only a few and they were able to play fine a week ago, and then they weren’t, we tried looking up solution but non have worked, if you could help me figure this out that would be great. to note that this happened after I updated the AMP, before that they could join just fine

Reproduction Steps

  • starts game
  • adds server but shows up offline
  • attempts to connect but gives message Connection Refused: GetSockOpt

same thing happened to me

I found a temporary solution until this gets fixed, use the other IPs that your server has such as ipv4
