Problem Description

Issue

I connect to my Minecraft server using a client and I stall loading the HUD. Once I do I can only stay connected for about 5-10 seconds and then get kicked with this error. “Internal Exception java.net.socketexception connection reset” I have tested my internet speed and I am getting 50 mb upload and download. I have tried with my firewall off and I have turned down render distance to 8 chunks. I have also turned down my graphics to fast. None of it helps.

Reproduction Steps

  • I connect to my Minecraft server.
  • Once connect it takes about 15-20 seconds to load my hud.
  • I can stay connected for about 5-10 seconds and then get kicked.

Check the server’s log for more info, there might be an associated error with the disconnect

I think it was a bad night for internet speed or something. I haven’t had trouble since.
