Problem Description

Issue

both me and a friend have tried to connect, we’ve made sure we have the same mods, version, and everything. using the ip adress gives a error saying its not initialized and we keep timing out before we connect to the server when using the primary endpoint.

Reproduction Steps

  • looked through files
  • changed server configuration settings
  • restarted the server

Anything in the server’s logs?

i looked, and it seems theres a incomplete command, but it doesnt say what it is. other then that it will just say that me or my friend joined then got disconnected

If you’re using Forge you can add the startup arg: -Dfml.readTimeout=180
To both the client and the server. For the server you can add it in the panel’s settings under Java and Memory, then for your client just google “how to add startup args to ”
