Problem Description

Issue

I can’t connect to my own server. I could before in the afternoon, and i can’t anymore. I have the connection timed out notification on my Minecraft.

Reproduction Steps

  • Modded and launched MC Server
  • Try to connect to the Server, with the notification that i cannot connect to my own server
  • Friends can join but I can’t

That’s pretty common with modded MC, just try a few times to connect.
If that doesn’t work, you can add the -Dfml.readTimeout=180 startup argument to both the client and the server.
In AMP it’s just under Java and Memory, then just google your launcher to figure out where to put it there.
(180s → 3min timeout period)
