Connectivity Problem with Minecraft - Can't connect to modded forge servers of any kind

Problem Description

Issue

this problem only occurs when trying to connect to modded Forge servers. Connecting to Vanilla servers works fine.
Additionally connecting to Forge Servers, not hosted by Hostinger, works without any problems

Reproduction Steps

  • Launching identical modpack to the server via CurseForge.
  • Under multiplayer: the server doesnt show up in any way → “Can’t connect to server” + neither Server ping nor Server Icon is visible
  • 2 other machines on the same local LAN can access the server though using the identical steps trying to connect to it

General note, this isn’t Hostinger support, just the forum for AMP, but we can point you in the right direction.
Try using the IP of the VPS instead of the domain that Hostinger gave you (found in your Hostinger VPS management page, not AMP)
