Connectivity Problem with Minecraft - Can't Connect to Forge Server on Minecraft

Problem Description

Issue

I set up the server to run Forge 43.4.0 on MC version 1.19.2. When I try to connect to the game via curseforge launcher on the same version Forge & MC, and then connect to the server with the ip, all I get is “Connection timed out: no further information.” I have tried everything. Why cant I connect when the versions are matching and the server is running the proper version of Forge.

Reproduction Steps

  • Confirgure → Minecraft
  • Update / Download → Forge version 43.4.0, MC version 1.19.2
  • Server Jar → running the executable Forge jar generated
  • Use curseforge launcher to launch minecraft
  • Type in server IP, cant connect to server.

Forge does not have a server Jar for 1.19.2, that would be the wrong Jar, leave it as Autoselect.
If you’re with Hostinger and still have issues, try the VPS’s IP and not the domain name
