Connectivity Problem with Minecraft - can't connect forge server

Problem Description

Issue

when crate forge server and start it, I can’t connect server in game
but when I play on fabric it can connect and play with mods normally.

Reproduction Steps

  • create Minecraft server
  • set version to forge 1.20.1
  • adding mods to server
  • update server
  • start server (it really starts, I can see in fabric ver. that server is on
  • play in forge ver. (with mods), server show “can’t connect to server”

I’d suggest checking your firewall and check the server’s log for any weird errors

I’m allow firewall but noting change,
I don’t think it anything wrong in server log, I’m mean server look normally when I see it in Vanilla or Fabric, It like forge not connect to server but other server like hypixel can be connect normally.
I guess i go play in fabric for now,

Yeah not sure what issue you’re having, Forge has always worked fine in my experience

Update
I’m try many things and this is results,
change server forge version // won’t work,
change minecraft forge version // won’t work,
forge without mods // won’t work,
but what I know is in forge I can see server Vanilla and Fabric connected.

if anyone know what the issue or how to fix it, please let me know.

Are you hosting AMP on the same machine you’re playing Minecraft from?

I use Hostinger, is it count as I’m hosting ?
I dont know much, It first time using Hostinger.

Ah, to note this is just the forum for AMP, with no affiliation to Hostinger.
Previously I meant the firewall on the Hostinger Linux system, not your windows firewall.

You might want to discuss with their support on resolving connectivity issues, as they may be more help.

Update
I’m can play in forge now,
I’m just change Server IP Address from IPv4 to IPv6 and it can play normally.
