Problem Description

Issue

unable to grab proper ip for server, server address is just listed as localhost

Reproduction Steps

  • view connection primary connection
  • copy connection host “localhost:*****”
  • paste into bedrock server address whilr ensuring port is correct

The primary connection info just reflects the URL in your browser bar when connecting to AMP

localhost will work only when you are using a client on the same machine as the server

Look in the network settings in Windows, or run ipconfig in a command prompt, to get your machine’s local IP, so you can connect using another device on your network
