Problem Description

Issue

I have created a minecraft bedrock server. When I try to connect to it on my pc, it comes up with the error “Server address is not correctly formatted. Make sure you enter it correctly and try again”. I copied and pasted the primary endpoint, entered the server name and left the default port, 19123. Any Idea as to what is wrong?

Reproduction Steps

  • Setup and start server
  • Copy Primary endpoint
  • Open minecraft bedrock and open the add server tab
  • Paste in server address and enter server name
  • select “add server”

Make sure you’re just inputting the IP/domain when adding the server, if you accidentally include the port as part of the IP field that could be the issue.
