the server was running with no problems, but it was showing heavy load messages so i restarted it, but after the restart i couldn’t connect to it anymore i tried to add the domain in steam game servers but same issue, game port was red even before the restart
Same issue but I didn’t have the heavy load. I rebooted the ESXi host and when it came back up, booted the Windows server VM running AMP and the Enshrouded instance started normally (the usual ports green with the one red port as it has always been). However, the game server does not appear in the Server list in Enshrouded anymore. Nothing changed with port forwarding or anything. No IPs changed. My Ark SE server no longer shows up in the in game server list either, which makes me think network issues on my end, but I can’t see how. I did also notice Enshrouded seems to hang when trying to update it, the steamcmd download never starts. I wish there was a way to test external connections to the amp instances to rule out internal network issues.
Did you get all your gameplay data moved to the new server? I was able to create a new instance and it worked fine, but I really need to get all my gameplay data from the orginal server back. Lots of hours spent on it.
Same problem and I hope there is a way to move the data. Worked fine and another server hosted on the same box is working perfect . Tried to change the ports and still nothing , do not want to delete it without being able to transfer data to new server . The optimal end game would be to get this server going again . Game Port and Query port both red all of a sudden somehow .
