Problem Description

Issue

The instance in AMP webui will start and show running, docker container does have the network bridged and all ports showing, on the client it will show the server in the “experimental” tab and I can select it, I do get the warning message from the game about the selected server not coming from them and I do get the enter password for the server. Then after a few seconds received the “connection timeout contact admin for server ****”

Reproduction Steps

  • Recreated the instance 3 times running in docker
  • Confirmed all ports listenning on Debian 13 AMP server
  • Created a new token for the self-hosting of Dune Awakening

Dune Awakening cannot be connected to over a LAN, only via its public IP. Check if your router supports NAT hairpinning.

I’m running opnsense and I’ve created NAT rules for both Source and Destination TCP port 5673 and a floating firewall rule was generated … still not allowing me to complete the joining of the server (I do still get asked for the password and does take a few seconds longer now before timing out the connection)
