Problem Description

I can no connect from public ip even though I have protoword the ip address

Reproduction Steps

  • i have opened the port on my router but still nothing is working
  • the server is working on lan
  • changing binding ip in the genericmodule
  • also added ports for my ip on the instance settings

Show your port forward settings

If the server is started and can be accessed on LAN then it is a port forward issue (or ports are blocked by your ISP). Randomly changing binding and adding ports to the instance won’t change anything

ports should be open on router side as I have very much freedom when I port forward anything else in my route

and i have this in my port usage for dayz

I’m not sure if anything else the end point is if that is anything I’m very new to using game panels as I would normal just use the old way with out them.

There is a guide in this discourse on DayZ setup, including for ports and IP binding. Have a look at it.

Once again, there should be no need for you to add custom ports.

so followed them and managed to get this to work on my windows but now I’ve actual moved onto my server running Linux ubuntu server done all the same things but for some reason nothing is now showing at all now.

all is ported router side
also the is the experimental version of dayz
