Problem Description

Issue

Started up a new gaming serve through this service and I can not locate or use the address I’m seeing on the server either in the instance page or when I go into the instance info. all say offline if I am even getting the correct connection ip address for the server. Please help as all i want to do is get more then 4 friends on same server so we can all enjoy playing this game together

Reproduction Steps

  • restarted the server
  • changed the port number
  • tried to find help via youtube and other sources
  • Tried the Engine.ini fix but still no luck.
  • I don’t have access to the rounter that’s the whole reason i went with paid hosting…

Note: IP is just showing 0.0.0.0:7777 which is odd…

You have to use the server’s public IP in the client

0.0.0.0 just means the server is listening on all interfaces

could you specify a little further? - This is my first server through AMP, Apologies this whole panel system is comepletly different from most ive worked with x.x

Who is your hosting provider?

Hostinger / AMP is the provider, apologies for the delay

Hostinger is your provider. AMP is the software they use (and don’t support as they should)

Whatever IP you use to access the panel, use that in your Astroneer client

If that doesn’t work, check the firewall on your server

Alright, I will try that when I am home and keep you posted if that worked, thank you so much for your help.

Update: YAY! That worked thank you so much!
