Connectivity Problem with Arma 3 - Steam wont accept join link

Problem Description

Issue

steam://connect/194.62.29.164:2303
Does not work as it does not define the game for steam to launch/Search, I get an error that no Game ID was used if using that link (Tried with Arma 3 Server)

Reproduction Steps

  • Click on the premade connect link in the instance status panel
  • accept redirect to steam
  • steam opens and shows game id error

Don’t use the steam connect link, they are notoriously buggy (that’s a steam issue, not an amp issue)
