Connectivity Problem with ARK: Survival Evolved - Source RCON failed to connect: Connection refused

Problem Description

Issue

Brand new install of AMP on brand new VM (debian). When starting instance it says RCON port connection is failing.

I ran iptables -L -n and chain input (policy accept) is showing all the appropriate ports listed with both udp and tcp.

As an add, I tried a different server type, satisfactory, and having a similar issue. Where ports are said they are open but I cannot connect on LAN.

Reproduction Steps

    1. Installed TailScale
    1. Installed AMP (had to turn off IPv6 in order to get download to work properly)
    1. Created Instance of Ark Survival Evolved
