I have been running a server for Vintage Story, it works as intended when the server is connected to Wifi outside of occasional connection issues which I connected to ethernet to solve, however I can connect via local IP now but no one including myself can connect via public IP which I was able to do on Wifi.

I have opened ports 42420TCP/UDP - 2225/TCP - 8080 TCP/UDP - 8081 TCP/UDP (unsure if the last 3 are necessary) I reset UFW and Verified the ports are open.
I’ve messed with various settings in the web manager can’t remember all that have been changed, I’ve been putsing all week. I’m thinking the Local IP change from Wifi to Ethernet may be causing it but I haven’t found any way to verify or fix that.

Reproduction Steps

  • Install and set up AMP using Wifi
  • Connect server PC to Ethernet
  • Attempt to connect via public IP
