Problem Description
Issue
During the past two or more weeks, connectivity has degraded to the point that Minecraft is unplayable. Even though latency is minimal (5 of 5 bars showing in-game and ~100ms reported) the game has severe lag. This situation affects multiple players from distant locations from each other. Our player base is minimal with only four players ever being online at once, but connectivity is very poor even for lone players.
Reproduction Steps
- Attempt to connect to server. Join empty world and fall for several minutes until disconnected.
- Log into AMP app, go to console and /kick my “ghost” player. Repeat step one.
- In the rare instance that the world actually appears around my character, attempt to interact with nearby objects such as chests and workstations unsuccessfully, while being repeatedly teleported back to my initial spawn point and orientation. Wait for up to two or more minutes for my chat messages to be echoed back to me. Wait for inevitable disconnection.
- Restart Minecraft launcher and game. Repeat steps one through three.
- Restart computer. Repeat steps one through four.
