Can not connect to the minecraft server. Used the how to connect guide, confirmed to be running on the correct version.

Reproduction Steps

  • I followed the inmotion how to connect to your minecraft server guide
  • Confirmed that I am running on the correct version of minecraft through the configuration settings
  • used the server address

Is the server in the same network as your client? If yes, did you use the public or local ip of the server? With the public ip you could have Problems with hair-pin NAT.
