Problem Description

Issue

As per normal, I have tried to log into the game panel to manage our Minecraft server. There seems to be a TARGETED attack on our server as Hostinger will not let me log in, leaving a “Failed to login to remote instance” error. It says “Rate limited - try again later as the server is not accepting requests from you at this time.”

Looking at the logs, there are continuous attempts to log in to the server externally. It appears that it’s being targeted now.

Please assist soonest.

Reproduction Steps

  • Tried to manage Minecraft server from game panel
  • Server logs are showing multiple connectivity attempts to the server. Hostinger has been banning the IP. IP is not me as admin
  • I have tried from different browsers, but same physical location. Same problem continues

This is not Hostinger support.
To reset the rate limit, either wait a bit, or restart the ADS instance.
In the linux CLI: sudo su -l amp then ampinstmgr restart ADS01
