Problem Description

Issue

I am trying to get a paper server set up so I can run my mods and host my own server which is currently being hosted elsewhere but the software seems to fail if I want to do anything outside of the default config it sets when the instance is created

Reproduction Steps

  • Create Instance
  • Connect to Server - Working as Snapshot verison
  • Change to 1.20.4 version Can no longer connect
  • Change to Paper 1.20.4 - Can no longer connect

If you can share the log from the instance it will give the most details. Start the instance, Minecraft server, and then grab it.

Right click the instance and View Logs to download the latest.

not sure why It’s talking about bedrock… it’s a java instance and paper is also java

That’s just getting the version details, not actually downloading Minecraft.

I don’t see that you did anything there though, try starting the Minecraft server inside the instance then share that log?

It would appear the issue was to do with the AMP install itself, re-installing AMP and following the exact same steps worked this time, please close ticket
