Problem Description

Issue

This is with Minecraft bedrock edition. After adding the server IP and port to Minecraft, it is able to display the server’s player count and ping, but attempting to actually connect to it fails. I believe I’m running the latest version of Minecraft on my own PC (v1.20.50).

Below you will find the server information. Let me know if you need any more details.

Reproduction Steps

  • Start the server instance.
  • Update the instance with the “Update” button.
  • After the update, confirm that the instance is marked as “Running” in the Hostinger Game Panel.
  • Enter server IP and port in Minecraft as a new server.
  • Minecraft attempts to connect, but fails.

We are not Hostinger, you may want to talk to their support.
You may want to see if this guide (then update after following those steps) helps, otherwise you can download the Bedrock server binary from microsoft and upload it over SFTP.
